I've been hearing some good things about C-Lon , and wondered if anyone here had tried it and liked it. I normally use Nymo, but it has such a problem with fraying, especially when using it for bugles or triangles. I was hoping that C-lon didn't have this issue, but wanted opinions before I track some down and buy it.

I adore C-lon. It doesn't fray as much as Nymo but it WILL fray if you do too many rip outs. I find that it doesn't need as much conditioning, stretching, waxing. and it comes in many many colors.

The first nylon thread I bought was C-Lon. I don't know if it even had a label, except to say it was nylon. Got it at the Native Arts store and didn't pay too much attention. Later, when I heard a lot about Nymo, I thought it was the same thing, just sold on a cone instead of a bobbin. And didn't know why there was such criticism of Nymo. C-Lon is great. About all I can say for Nymo is that it comes in a lot of colors.
(And, by the way, Nymo on a cone spool is more like C-Lon).

I've never tried C-lon, but I have had Nymo break, and that's hard to take - seeing all my hard work fall into the carpet!! Hate that:( Cyndi

I'm another silamide fan, and my LBS stopped carrying it. When I found an online source, I stocked up; hoping I've got enough now to last a lifetime :)
