Calling all Hippie Crafters and Artists! (Not spam)

Kyndculture.com is striving to be a virtual festival vending booth. We have a system in place and would like to help you sell your wares! We're already selling for some kynd folk!! So if you make anything that would be of interest to the kynd culture - hemp stuff, clothes, tie dye, batik, jewelry, hats, etc - We'd love to talk to you. We will do all the advertising, all the selling, and collect all the payments. You give us a wholesale or discounted price for the item, a picture of the item and a shipping price, we'll sell the item via several ways we have available to us online, then we'll pay you via paypal and all you have to do is ship the merchandise to the person we sell it to. VERY VERY easy! Afford yourself more time to create and less time marketing your creations!! I have over 10 years of ecommerce and internet marketing expertise and I WILL sell your stuff! So email me today! snipped-for-privacy@kyndculture.com Peace - Lisa Resident Hippie Kyndculture.com

well, I have to say, it's not really spam, it's targeted marketing. If they hit us up trying to sell us a mortgage or a way to enlarge our "members", it would be spam. But, it is on target... welcome or not. Though AD in the subject line would have gone a long way to help their cause.

I would have to agree, although I'm almost dang sure that I'm the only one here who this sort of thing is targeted for! LoL! This is almost identical to what I'm involved in right now...I'm working on an order for a new company that is buying up "hand-made in North America hemp jewelry", and will be selling it all under one name. I kinda freaked out for a sec, cause it sounded exactly like my buyer, but then I remembered that they aren't selling online. If I didn't know now what I've learned about wholesale orders, this post ~may~ have tempted me to take a further look. But since my wholesale order has become the bane of my life...ain't no way in heck.

We have indians there also. lol You should check out... welcomehome.org welcomehere.org At those sites you will find hundreds (thousands?) of links to rainbow gatherings all over the world. It's sort of a hippie tribe, and they have these big festivals out in the woods. Really, really big festivals, with (I understand) music and dancing and food and storytelling, and spiritual workshops and classes. It's supposed to be very fun, I dunno, never been to one.

So, Patch, where is this gathering? 20,000 sounds huge. I have to say it goes against my grain of "live lightly on the earth". A group of 1,000 seems like about the limit for my comfort zone.

I found the sites informative, and packed with links. But it was kind of hard to locate information. And also it was hard to read, ie tiring for my eyes and brain, because the background patterns were so dominant.

So is the Gathering by Oroville? What National Forest is there?

I live in Alaska, where I have been involved with some events that might be similar. The Gathering of Tribes, is low key, and is very local in that it is about living with the land right where you are. And a women's martial arts retreat where we also emphasis "related studies" -- such as Reiki, Calligraphy (including its physical "form"), belly dancing, Feng Shui, wilderness survival, and other wide ranging subjects. These would be similar in intent. I imagine the Blue Grass festival is more similar in spirit.

I would like to share your natural healing links with some others here

Are you Rob?

Hope your gathering goes well. I have saved links.
