And just *how* does "clearing the energy" do anything about the problems that caused the "bad juju" in the first place? Smudging your "African conflict diamonds" may ease your fears about "bad vibes" transfering to you, but they're still "bloody", and people are still dying because of them.
I'm not saying it's wrong to have/buy/want such diamonds, gold, teak furniture, seal skin coats, or ivory and tortoiseshell combs conditioned with whale oil and made by children sold into slavery, but praying over them is not going to resolve the basic problems associated with producing them. If you "have" to have these items, be honest with yourself, at least, and accept the fact you are supporting industries and causes that may be destructive and/or unethical, or even criminal. hmn... thinking it's in the intent of your thoughts and actions then - just like when you place an item somewhere for feng shui purposes - you do it with intent.
Also thinking some of you might enjoy this article about water - how it changes based on thoughts and music even:
Brilliant, thanks!
All really good points. And good reasons for staying away from these types of things.
Brilliant! The library! Who would've thought? (question to myself) Why do I overlook the obvious so often and wind up spending perfectly good bead money on books and tapes that I might not end up using!).
