Cylinder Bead Question

Sep 03, 2008 6 Replies

Hi all,

I just got my latest B&B and LOVE the Dragon choker!! I was reading the materials list, and it calls for size 11 seed beads, and then it says size

11 cylinder beads. Does this mean just tube shaped? I have some size 11 hex cuts which look tube shaped. OR does it mean something like Delicas, which I think I've heard called size 11 cylinders.

Thanks!

Jerri, I'm pretty sure that means cylinder beads, like Delicas. Previously, most patterns have just said cylinder beads (Delicas or treasures?), but now that there are 3 or 4 different sizes of cylinder beads (10, 11, 15?), patterns are including the size. Will be looking for photos of your new project!!!

I would take it as delica beads. Hugs Shirley

What issue is this? I just got the August 2008 and I don't see a dragon choker.

Hi Linda,

It's the Oct. issue. It just came yesterday!

I'm always a sucker for lizards, dragons, frogs, snakes.........

Thanks, Shirley! I was going through my stash to see if I have what I need on hand, and if it's delicas, I should have everything! (Except the red eyes, but I'll worry about that later!)
