I can't go to the bead shop Saturday. I have to work. Yep, i got a job...sorta. I'm helping the ballet company with costume construction and repair. And guess when my first day is...yep, you guessed it! I get paid per piece, so....more money for beads later on, and Christmas pressies for now. So..if you were planning to come, I"m sorry...but we'll make it another time.
Remaining a bead store virgin for a little while longer....
What a COOL job! Personally, I am thinking I miss having two jobs. I liked it a lot better than this.

It's something I've always wanted to do at least once. I'm sure it won't be easy work...but think about all the beads and sequins i'll be working with...hehe
My first job is going to be reparing a hoop skirt...you know, the really really big one from the Nutcracker....where all the kids come out from. the entire costume for that character weighs 45+ pounds...they're hoping i can lighten it up a little. Keep your fingers crossed.
