Doing the HappyDance!

I'm taking off for the Sacramento area next week to spend some time with my sister and her family. Guess what is only a few miles away?!? ARROW SPRINGS!!!! YeeeeHAW!!!! I love going there! The entire crew is wonderful to work with and the TOOL WALL, to die for!

OMG! I'm gonna touch ALL the glass, fondle ALL the tools, check out ALL the torches! Anyone in the Boise area that needs something from Arrow Springs, just let me know...

WoooHooo! Doin' the HappyDance!

oh you can count on that! I was there last year with a terrible cold, ear infection, the whole nine yards and I still had a BLAST! My sister, Tami, is a fab boro sculpture worker... I'm hoping she can give me some pointers on working with boro.

NEWS FLASH! My folks, Bill and Laura Rasmussen (Razberibeads.com) are finally relocating to Sparks, NV! With Dad's 50 years experience working with boro and doing some teaching, I'm sure to sneak in a few classes...

You know you are a lampworker when you plan vacation time around glass suppliers :)

OK, I'm jealous. That would be more fun than an old fashioned hardware store! Only thing is, I could never get out of there without bankrupting myself....... Barbara Dream Master

Too bad we hadn't talked that much before...I am in Vacaville, only 45 minutes away, could invite you in to see the Bali and Swarovski and Silver that I have here, waiting to go out...you missed most of the (old) 925 order, which was $12,000+, but I am in the middle of ordering more ($5,000+), which will be here Friday, and a little more mid-week. Plus FSL ($8,000+), and about $1,200 of swarovski...NICE!!!

HAY!

I didn't know Arrow Springs was in the Sacramento area! Well boy howdy, now I have something to look forward to next time we visit the MIL!

(Actually, I like my MIL... but a trip to Arrow Springs will sweeten the deal!)
