The Expo was fun. Nothing like 2 huge buildings of Scrapbooking supplies for sale to make a girl happy. I didn't buy much though. I took 2 classes that turned out to be given by the same person who makes templates for easy mosaic making and kaleidoscope making. I've never heard of the latter for scrapbooks, but the results are wonderful. I bought many of his templates. It kind of goes along the Coluzzle idea, but I found these much easier to use. He said it was because of his blade that it was easier. He had a template for making shaker boxes, bows, and intricate frames too. I'll photograph my handy work and get it up on my website. Plus I'll put up his web site.
Then I stopped by the Creative Memories booth. They saw I was carrying the CM album tote for my supplies and came right over to greet me. We exchanged pleasantries and I said, "Not only am I carry your tote I'm also carrying a CM injury and I showed them the cut I got Tuesday when I tried closing the cover on the Antique Blade. They shared injury stories with me and then said the blade now comes with a cutting shield. Which they showed me the package and told me to stick it in my pocket. Their gift. WOW! Then I discovered the mini tape runner. I fell instantly in love. Had to have one. Been using it on a project already.
Well, I'm going to get back to dinner, but thought I'd share my experiences today.
