found out about a room available in Paducah

I'm not sure why I got this email, but thought I'd pass the info on in case someone here could use the room. This is the email I received:

We are holding one additional hotel room that we will not be needing in Paducah, during the convention. The hotel room is at the Country Inn and Suites, located near the the shopping and restaurant area, about a mile from the convention area. The cost is $158.00 plus tax.

This is available to anyone who is looking for a room with two beds.

I'm not saying anything one way or another just be sure to check this out very carefully if you are interested. There have been rumors of scams regarding rooms at major quilt shows- as well as any other major function with out-of-town attendees.

Les, have you heard anything about the upgrades and improvements that were supposed to be made on the convention center and hotels?

I heard a few weeks ago that Springfield may be back in the running. Probably just a rumor though.
