Faith Bead-----You know I had to try one!

Well, you know I had to try a Faith bead! It took me three trys to get a head I was fairly happy with. I'm not sure about the roundell collar, since they are kind of stubby, stocky little dogs.

Faith just got adopted by a wonderful woman who'd lost her 12 yr. old schnauzer to cancer last week. Since he had been abused and took a long time to adjust to his home, I feel sure that she can handle Faith and her shyness issues. I talked to her that night, after they got home, and then again the next night, and things were going well. This lady is widowed, home most of the time, and I think will be wonderful for Faith. That night, after taking Faith home, the lady called me and told me it was the first day since her Fritz had died that she hadn't cried. Very sweet. Anyway, we'll be in touch, and I'll keep up with Faith's progress.

Now, I have Jellybean:

And you can see that Jelly and Spke became fast friends immediately:

This little doll has some medical issues. She had juvenile cataracts (removed with surgery) and has to be on eyedrops. She also has to have a glaucoma check every six months. Other than that, she's about the easiest foster I've had. She's well behaved and I've given her the run of the house already. She's housebroken and doesn't bother anything.

Looks better without the collar. Looked a bit strangulating Now you could make a tiny beaded one now that it looks more natural LOL Shirley

Awww! Jellybean is adorable!

Cute Faith bead; although I agree with Shirley that it looks better without the collar. Love those eyes...they are SO schnauzer eyes!

Jerri I love you for what you do for animals. I also think the rondell collar for Faith bead is adorable. I just lost one of my cats - I don't know why he died, maybe old age... but it lifted my spirits to hear about Faith, and jelly bean is just adorable too! Hugs,

Thanks, Shirley! I like the look of the collar, but I think it looks more like a schnauzer without it.

Thanks, Val! We always thought Faith looked like she had a permanent scowl. Lol.

Thanks, Karleen. It breaks my heart every time I say goodbye, but I've met some wonderful people, and it always lifts my heart to hear from them later, about what a wonderful dog they got.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. These animals sure take over our hearts!

Jerri, I'll second what Karleen says. If I had the space and YARD, I'd foster in a heartbeat too. It's hard enough to keep me from picking up strays...but right now I just can't bring 'em home.

BTW here's a pic of my mutts sleeping where they shouldn't be, which they tend to do the minute we walk out the door. I busted them:

Molly is sleeping, Lily is looking at the camera. Molly was a stray that got rescued and then we adopted her from a friend. Lily is Amish. lol! She was bred by Amish people and Ed drove to the middle of nowhere to pick her up.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, they're adorable. Amish terriers? Has the AKC recognized them? Lol.

A friend of mine is fostering a similar little guy:

This guy was abused and is terrified of feet. We're figuring he was kicked. My DD loves this one and would take him in a heartbeat if I'd let her!
