I found out today that someone else opened my Homestead account, and now I owe $120 for an account I closed years ago. This same person is hyperlinking and added their own text that is very adult in content across the web. This text is supposed to be filtered, however, because they typed all the words together, the words aren't recognized as offensive or adult. This same person has added the closed domain name with Homestead.com on several search engines on the web. And the web archives show about 4,000 pages that have been stored with them from the disabled pages on Homestead.com. Why would anyone want to add a disabled webpage (that was cleaned out and closed in 2001) to a search engine? If anyone has ever had this happen, please reply back. This person is really low and must not have a life. D.
P.S. Homestead.com and Google claim they can't do anything because the site is disabled and the hyperlink doesn't show an error 404 message? Even though the very adult language is there on the search engines?! I think deleting the website would be the thing to do, however, Homestead.com won't delete it, they will only disable it, which still performs a crawl on a search.
