I love the look of fringe on woven beadwork, but I hate doing fringe. My pieces, of late, have had a ton of fringe on them. It's been slow going.
Is there some reason for torturing myself? :-p

Yep.. cause it feels so good to run your fingers against it when its done. Diana, who lives on the fringe of the bead world
You're not alone. :) I love the look of fringe, and the *feel* of it, but hate doing it, too. :)
Is it the repetitive, mindless nature of it? Or counting? Or..... something I havent considered? I dont mind doing it. I keep looking around the house for things I could put fringe on. :-) Diana

Ahhhh... the tension is creating tension! Thats a trial for me too.. but then I figure, no one will really notice but me and good will be good enough. But, I dont sell my fringe and that makes a difference Im sure. Diana
The thing that annoys me the most, I think, is the way the working thread keeps getting tangled in the fringes I've already done no matter how I hold it. :-p
