Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

Oct 12, 2004 9 Replies

To all my r.c.b. friends. We spent the day doing home stuff (this is the first anniversary of us getting title to our lovely little house) then having family over for turkey and all the trimmings. I have so much to be grateful for - DH, wonderful family and friends, getting to work with glass and wire every day, our lovely house, a cat who has decided to adopt us after being a stray all summer,my upcoming return to PhD studies w/ financial support. Life is good. And perhaps getting even better, as I am in the midst of exploring another theory about my lack of energy. Did a sleep study hooked to 4 different monitors over the weekend to look at the possibility that I have sleep apnea. Apparently I will be able to get a preliminary read-out tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Preliminary results suggest there is some airway obstruction going on. The results have been sent to a respirologist and I should have something more definative by the end of the week. The resp. tech that owns the CPAP company I used for the sleep test is really dynamic - I feel really confident that she'll provide great service and follow-up. So maybe, just maybe I have the beginnings of an answer to my "why am I so exhausted all the time?" question. And a solution. Whoa, what would/could I do with a bunch of extra ooomph??!! :-)

You know, I thought about Thanksgiving in the morning yesterday, and then it slipped my mind. But we did have dinner and a healing circle with friends, which has similarities. I too have reason to be thankful both in general, and to Canada.

God bless Canada. And all my friends, everywhere.

Tina

Yes, Goddess bless us all, each and everyone. Thanks Tina, sounds like a very nice day.
