Costume Jewelry - Maryland

Oct 11, 2004 11 Replies

If anyone living in Maryland is interested in old/new costume jewelry, please reply.

My wife's mother recently died and left a bunch of costume jewelry that can either be worn or taken apart and used to make new jewelry.

I apologize if this is not the NG to post this, but I've run out of options to divest of the jewelry.

Thank you, in advance.

Costume jewelry usually fetches pretty decent prices on eBay. You might try there.

Are you kidding? Have you NEVER heard of eBay? (This has to be a joke.) ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

And it's especially hot right now. Really trendy. ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

Hush, y'all. I'm in Maryland and you can ship it to me. Actually, I'm in Frederick and if you're within 50 miles I'll come and get it.

Where's that written? Unless you meant pics.

Dana and I are planning to spend the day in Wilmington. We can make a short detour on the way to pick them up.

It could be utter junk, you know..... ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

...yes, it could have been, but I've already sold it to a dealer and got a fair price.

I'd like to thank those of you who replied with an interest in seeing what my mother-in-law had.

I'd also like to say thank you to "Dr. Sooz" for the negativism and stupid remarks....and I'm sure you're never wrong.

Sincerely,

Huh? Wasn't she encouraging you because, and I quote her, "And it's especially hot right now. Really trendy."? Or maybe that's what you count as negatism and stupid comments. All she said was that it could possibly just be junk... which is, of course, a possibility with any unknown quantity. But that was right after giving you an encouraging comment.

Sounds like it would be best for everyone to watch their step with you... one wrong sentence, and you come out flaming.
