Have you seen the updated eBay stores layout?

ROFL and I HATE IT!!!!!! I was really shocked because I don't remember getting one of the notices that they were changing the format. I really liked having my categories at the top, not along the side.

Yesterday they had a glitch and 22 of my items were LOST for several hours. It was weird because they showed up in "My Ebay" on my Items selling list, but not in the store. Thankfully they're back today.

I do like the Gallery view and set that as the new default. Nice to see the beads laid out that way. I plan to play with the custom colors and finally take a pic that I can set up in my custom border. AFTER this show is done!

Oh, and one sideline rant. Ebay is outsourcing their customer support to India or some other alien-English place. I had "help" yesterday when I realized what was going on, and the broken English was frustrating but funny at the same time. Eerily familiar to "transliterating" some medical dictation that's been outsourced (Carol, I bet you know exactly what I mean). Grrrrr to outsourcing!

Boy, do I, LOL!!! From what I've heard, eBay's customer service wasn't very good even when the people *did* speak English as a first language, ROFL!

I agree; I am just an eBay shopper (I have my own, free-to-post auction site that I prefer to use), but I have noticed the new stores layout, and I prefer the categories on top.

I also had an annoying eBay glitch yesterday. I purchased three buy-it-nows from a seller' store, but only two are showing up in the Items I Won section of My eBay. Got email confirmation of them all, as did the seller, but it is kinda annoying:-\

I definitely do NOT like that the whole page won't fit on my screen.

That happened to me last month and that was before the new store look. Seems that eBay has had their share of glitches the last couple of months.

Yeah, "My ebay" is known for glitches. I only trust the email confirmations and sometimes even that fails.

I don't mind the new layout, but I can see it being a problem for those with smaller screens. And it sure would have been nice if ebay had notified people in some way. I mean, the sellers are paying for their storefronts - they should have a say. Ah well. Ebay - a necessary evil at times.
