Medical science pats itself on the back rather too much, I think. It's not as advanced as it likes to think. As Dr. McCoy on Star Trek said (in the 4th Star Trek movie, about the whales), when he was in a 20th century hospital -- "It's the goddam Spanish Inquisition!" Then he gave a woman a pill that totally regenerated her kidneys. She was calling out, "I'm CURED! I'm CURED!" (He passed the pills to her like a dealer to a junkie, it was so funny)

Oh my goodness, Shirley. I am so sorry. That must have been very frightening. My thoughts and prayers are with you tht they come up with just the right drug "cocktail" to keep everyting balanced and get you back on your feet. Vertigo is awful. I had an extreme case for a week when Ann was little.

Your trees are wonderful! Aren't they fun? What is the pink stone? I'd love to get some of that one! I'm thinking a pink and white tree would be really pretty too!

Your pinky tassel was one of the very first things I unpacked after the move. It always stars in the guest room so I can show it off to visitors.

If women were the dominant gender, things would be in a different state. Many people still think of women as the weaker sex and not worth bothering with. I think because a lot of our issues are emotional (god forbid!), they are not given the attention they deserve. It's like we are making it up. Bast...ds!

Oh Shirley I'm so sorry! My hubby had problems with clotting/thinning/meds also. Sometimes it's hard to get the dosage right. Hope you get it straightened out soon! Love & hugs, karleen
