I hate you people!!!!! (RAW)

Frequently I'll start projects, and then run out of time/lose my enthusiasm and put it aside. I've amassed a whole lot of beads/crystals because of this, too.

Then, I was reading the recent posts about right angle weave and decided to give it a go.

Thanks to your lot, I am now ADDICTED!!!!! Grrrr!

I can't afford enough Swarovski to make a bracelet (LBS markup/huge shipping costs to import) so I've been using Czech fp crystals.

Can I say: bling bling!

They look amazing! And they are SO quick and easy to make!!!

And RAW is so addictive!!! I find when I know I have more important things to do I just can't put it down.

THANK YOU very much! :Þ

One question: how do you attatch clasps? And what's the best clasp? I also had an idea of using fine stretch magic (and weaving it back through the finished bracelet to secure it) to attatch the ends to make a cuff...

I've never made a RAW bracelet so I won't tell you how to attach the clasp, but I have been firmly won-over by toggles for bracelets, for security of clasp and ease of use.

Know what you mean about LBS Swarovski prices. A 6mm round one here is $.85!!!

Guilty as charged. :-) And my name is JoAnn (she who is addicted to Swarovskis)

I use a gold-filled or sterling silver clasp. Preferable two-strand but I've also used single strand. The two-strand clasps I use are 9.5mm clasps and a single 4mm crystal will fit between the two rings. If I'm using a single strand clasp, I only use three crystals on the two ends and then four crystals throughout the rest of the bracelet.

If you need, I can scan in an image of my bracelet and post it for a reference.
