Ok, you're pulling my leg, right? 30s????????????
And I've taught it at my local Ben Franklin Crafts. I love it when they finally get the hang of everything. I've found the hardest part is figuring out how to hold everything. Once you get comfy, you're fine. :-)
Wanna see what happens with a seed bead addiction...LOL. I took over the apartment over the garage...and chaos has ensued.
LOL..amen to that...trying to explain the you have to keep going the same direction. So far I have only had 1 person 'not get it'.

Lol! I'd have to be really organized to keep up with them!
I haven't quite mastered how to pick up the beads or what kind of surface I should work on. Things are rolling around on my desk.
It says, "restricted access". I couldn't see the pic.
It was a lot of fun. I'll definitely do another class one day.
Get yourself a piece of an old Vellux blanket. GREAT beading surface. If you need, I have a source for them as well as seed beads.
a small piece of a velux blanket makes a great work surface, beads don't roll around. ..put something hard between it and you so you don't end up stabbing yourself
or the small shallow dishes they use for condiments in oriental restaurants hold beads well and let you stab them up pretty easily
Ok, I think I fixed it....
Or, better yet, from one seeder to another, send me your snail mail addy and I'll send you a vellux beading surface!
(I bought a King size blanket to cut up,....I think I can spare a hunk! LOL)

30's are as close to liquid glass this non-fire-girl will ever get. They're delicious.

Um, yeah! Me, who is completely overwhelmed at ordinary size 12 seeds, and people are out there using size *30*.
Now for the next question; can an ordinary mortal afford something made from these microscopic beads?

You have got more beads there than we see in most of UK's bead shops. Shirley
