Icicles

I have been asked by a friend to create a fall/winter "head piece" using silk fall flowers, and such.... as well as crystal snow flakes and of all things.. icicles!!! I have the snow flakes figured out.. but can't get a grasp on the icicles. She also wants a necklace probably with the icicles...... any ideas on beads that I can use to create icicles?? This is going to be for a photo shoot on Novemeber 5th in NYC.... so I have till the middle of October to come up with this.... HELP!!!!

Maybe the Swarovski Avant Garde and Polygon Drop pendants in clear? Depends really on the other materials but if you are using silk flowers you could probably cruise Michael's for some plexiglass ones, with the ornament crafting season coming up you might find something there. There's a place locally here called Aldik's, speciallizes in that kind of thing too. Lighter would probably be better anyway.

I looked at some of the "non Swarovski"... and just couldn't do it... she's chosen me because my stuff sparkles and glitz.... which she wants... and she knows that I work primarily with Swarovski..... The flowers and leaves and stuff are going to be fairly cheap.. so I will have more money for the crystals....

but I have not given up totally > Maybe the Swarovski Avant Garde and Polygon Drop pendants in clear?
