Just got back from the hostpital...here is the scoop...non hodgkins lymphoma-diffused B-cell. He was admitted today to hold the bed, but will not be able to start treatment until Monday when all specialists are in house. Normally out patient but considering dads health they will do over 2 days instead of one...he get 4 IV and 1 oral drug. Treatment every 3 weeks for 6-8 sessions. Only 25-50% chance of success...very aggressive Chemo so dad will be quite sick. They expect he will need to stay in till Thursday or Friday...really whenever he stabilizes.
