Hi everyone. First time posting here since I am new to beading but have done some spiral beading and love that technique. I saw a necklace done in the St. Petersburg chain stitch and thought I would try that next. But I can seem to find any instructions online for that one. I would love some suggestions of good places to find instructions or tutorials on a variety of stitches.

Welcome! I know that pattern was in Bead and Button not too long ago, but I don't remember which issue. You can go to their website and do a project search. (I tried, but couldn't find it, but you may not be a computer ditz like me.) Here's a list of pattern sites:

Hi, Alice. :) The instructions for St. Petersburg chain stitch are on Page 75 of the April, 2007 issue of Bead and Button. Perhaps you can purchase that issue directly from the Bead & Button website. I know they sell old issues until they don't have any left. Good luck.
