All of these people are on crack! You'd think they were selling non hollow platinum beads or something.

For that high price, I want better pictures. And approximately 17 beads? That's.....weird.
But don't forget! "Diamonds are said to access the highest good for all areas!"
Don't you get tired of such RARE stuff? It's gettin' so RARE stuff is quite common... sheesh... RARE stuff used to be RARELY seen, I wonder how many thousands of listings are RARE????
Shipping is $41 for 17 beads? Do they come in a lead lined casket? LOL
ROFL!

If you all could see my daily email you would know why I am throwing things at Sooz and she is laughing just THINKING about it. She sends me links to things I covet and can't afford until I cuss excessively. LOL.
I didn't even SEE the shipping on that item -- thanks for pointing it out!!!! I guess they decided to make their fortune on just this one auction.

20823 hits for 'rare' tonight in ebay's Jewelry listings... hmmm... So rare is like... not? Wow I am so sad.
:)
I'm sorry, but to be honest. It seems that now a days it's a matter of getting as mich as you can for the product you sell, regardless if you know your ripping people off. Also it seems the people bidding on that stuff really have there collective heads up there asses!
It's whats happening now, everyone wants to make jewelry, or wear the truely bizzare. They have no clue what they are buying or the value of the item in question.
Shows I did that had 2 or 3 jewelry makers now have 30+, including the juried shows, funny how finished pieces with stock #'s in Rio bags are counted as hand made, or the stuff is all packed in boxes that say made in china!
Then there is that s*****ad who says he is the premier wire wrapper and has all designs copy wrighted and can't tell the diff between fine or stirling silver!
I swear my mouth is going to get me thrown out of a show one of these days!

Well, I couldn't resist, and I sent a note inquiring about the 'approximately' and the lack of pics, and the shipping..... here's the reply:
Hello, this is an incorrect price, and we are going to fix it. sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding. Thanks, Linda Saad (skyjems)
Yep it's certainly overused!
I did too, but can't see where/if they fixed it!
You could really be trite and say, LOOK RARE!!! LOL
Of course the first thing I think of when I see RARE is steak! hahahahahaha Not exactly the image you want for bead sales.
OR when you see mulitple listings of the same things pegged as UNIQUE... don't these ppl know how to use a dictionary????
Problem is that these adjectives are so overused, when you DO list something that IS unique or rare, what do you say? "I'm more unique-r than you - this is REALLY one of a kind"?
"I'm rare-r than you. This is REALLY rare, only 10 were made and this is one of a set of 2 that survived the fire"?
