My beaded ornament hangers

I whipped out 54 of these in about an hour. Selling them for $4/dzn at my church's holiday boutique tomorrow. They aren't all even, but they sure are cute, and fast to make! :o) We don't have a tree this year, but I'll definitely be making more next year:o)

those are cute. i hope you sell them all at the boutique. i think i'm going to do as Diana suggested and make a jig for making mine. A block of wood, some nails and a hammer seem to be all i'll need.....then i can crank mine out as fast as you do yours.

I also thought of making a jig. I made one for earwires, & though I used it when I made a bunch of earwires at one time, I think I end up wasting too much wire that way. I'm not very practiced at jigs, so maybe there's a better way I just don't know about...

One of my favorite ways to crank out beady things is to head down to Barnes & Noble. Ours has a table set up with Thomas trains, and my kids will sit and play/read for HOURS, while I post up at one of the kiddie tables. It's quiet, well lit, and gets my kids out of the house for a while. Win/Win! :o)
