My Kandice bead necklace

Jul 18, 2003 10 Replies

I really like how the necklace I made last night with some of Kandice's beads turned out and wanted to share. The rose pendant is jade. My scan doesn't do the piece justice at all - the color of Kandice's beads is rich, deep, and incredible!!! The necklace looks wonderful on.

Wow - I'm speechless! The beads you chose to match are really gorgeous! That's really beautiful, Carol. I love seeing my beads in finished pieces. :) Thank you for sharing!

The necklace looks wonderful NOT on, too, Carol. However, what really makes me happy is to see you say something like this about your own work:

Now THAT is growth! I love you. Watch your mail -- Package 1 of 2 went out last night. I am still working on 2 of 2, as that part of the gift has been somewhat elusive.

Carol -- I haven't made any jewelry yet, I am too busy with the rest of my life. I have made ONE necklace and since it is with parts you gave me, I could hardly give it to you as a gift, LMAO. It will come, however. It will come.

I actually think it could be quite cool to get a finished piece made of components I gave someone else. The gift would be the design, and considering your work, that's nothing to be at all unhappy about.
