I was trying a flat bead, thinking about makint something that I could wire sculpt, but I think this one is too busy. I think it's kind of pretty though:

That's not busy at all!!!! It's a lovely garden!

I love it. It makes me want to slip on a hoop skirt and take a stroll on the veranda to bask in the scent of the flowers.

"kinda pretty"? I LOVE it!!

Love it - but I agree that the design is a little 'off'. I think the flowers should be smaller and the sun/moon larger so that it's more in proportion.

I love it. I think you should send it to me to drool over and put in my collection. LOL

But she got the perspective on the scene right. The moon should be smaller -- it's way up in the sky. The flowers are right next to us, in the foreground. That's perfect! ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce

I think it's lovely and a well balanced composition.

Well, darn, since it's "off", I'll be glad to take it off her hands. Heck, I'll even pay shipping.....

I love the garden. Beautiful and not busy at all.

I didn't mean that it was awful or anything - it's quite pretty, I just think the focus should be different, that's all.

Thanks everyone! When I said it was busy, I meant that it was too busy for wire sculpture. I really like the bead, except I think I'd like it shaped a little differently, but when I was making it, I was thinking I was making something to try and sculpt with. I think, though, with all the wire that goes into wire sculpting, I like a less busy bead, something simpler. I'd like this bead for something else, though.

It is pretty.

Cheers, Carla

Oh, I don't think it's too busy AT ALL! It's kind of what would happen if Monet and Van Gogh had a baby together.

There might be some logistical problems there.
