New work, BAD pics!

Temp pics of some of the pieces I've been working on the last couple of weeks, including my first necklace using a TINK bead!!! I seem to be having some problem with the (close & macro) focus on my camera and will have to either sort it out or borrow a friend's to take better pics. Hoping to post these and others in my etsy store in the next week but cannot/will not without proper pics. :(

The serpentine and copper really needs better pics as it's a simple and beautiful necklace... the contrast of the pale green of the serpentine and the dark copper is striking in a subtle way and pick up colors in Tink's beautiful bead so well. And the chalcedony and silver (so NOT my style but... oh well, it was a challenge!) would not photograph well at all.

I really thought my love affair with copper would have waned by now but, happily, that's not happening! I feel more... ummm, something... everytime I work with it in chain, wire or beads. Something about it... more organic, maybe, or grounded? And bright copper doesn't do it for me so much. Thankfully I've gotten better (less heavy-handed) with the darkening and polishing so that I have more control over color.

Yep... love copper more every day!!! :)

Thanks! It is a beautiful pendant, with more colors than the pic shows!
