Order from Nigeria

Yes, yes, yes, everything she said! Take your time and check everything out before you ship anything. If it's a scam they will try to get you to do something unusual like take out extra money and send them the difference, or the credit card may be a stolen number, or something else sketchy. Be careful and stick to your normal procedures no matter what they ask you to do... they give up fast if it's clear they can't scam you.

Don't worry Amy, your advertising WILL pay off. Just keep your name out there and you will start to see results... it's a long road but it will happen.

Are you on eBay? That's a poor medium for sales but it WORKS as advertisement! Keep a few small auctions up all the time, make sure you have an About Me page, keep a link to your website on your About Me page, and you'll get some customers that way.

And it would seem they actually put work into their scams instead of using bots like most spammers/scammers. Someone had a spam blocker that sent replies to all messages asking them to include a keyword in the topic so the e-mail would get through his spam-filter. Apparently one of these Nigerian scammers wrote back a rather abusive reply.

Makes you wonder why Nigeria is a haven for such people.

I have to agree with everyone else. Don't do it! They do scam you!! I get all the time emails from Africa (different countries) that I've won in lottery a huge amount. For getting them, I should send them email and confirm the winnings. After that, they open a bank account and I have to pay the opening fees so that I get the money... Yeah right. How stupid they think I am???

So please be careful with all of these. If you cannot call them or send someone to visit, be suspicious. Atleast I would!

Yes I do sell on Ebay. ID: empressbeads Ebay is my main source of income right now. I write a personal Thank You with each purchase and include a card and ask them to stop by site. Also I include how much money they can save by shopping on my site.

I have been doing more internet marketing lately. My hits have been growing by an average of 1 additional hit a day. I have doubled my hits per day from last month!

I guess on the brighter side, they found me. Out there on the big web they did find me. Although a scam, I am able to be found. So in a way my advertising is reaching people. he he I will just be more alert next time.

Most people who want product give you there information right away and this was taking way too long. I am not replying to any more of their emails. But like someone had mentioned, yes I did pull the order and started packing a few things. So they wasted what little extra time I have. :(

Oh well. I will be waiting for the next big order from a legitimate buyer.
