Last week I sent cheque payment for an order from

and today I received my parcel of Louisa Smith templates and some fabrics which included extra yardage on one piece of fabric because it was bolt end -- no charge. I have had email contact with Cynthia several times about my fat quarter subscription and she has gone the extra yard (no pun intended) to accommodate my requests. It was also obvious to me that the parcel was shipped before she could have received my payment - another reason to like this person. I shall continue to do business with Cynthia unlike 'another' Canadian internet store which has yet again not shipped my order from March 8th

- the name of that one is Hamels.

Today, I also received another parcel from the US which was ordered on the 8th - Connecting Threads is also a good store to use for shipping into Canada. I should also be receiving another small fabric package that I ordered last week as a result of a $10 gift certificate won in the fabshophop. My birthday started early this year!! jennellh

Just curious - are they Canadian based? It wasn't obvious anywhere on their site when I went looking. And how do you know how big the prints are if there is a fabric you are interested in? - I didn't see a scale anywhere. I haven't ordered fabric over the internet yet but might get started if I didn't have to worry about getting stuff over the border.
