This must be "new residence" fall for many of us - Sooz Moved -new House - Polly is moving- remodeled post Katrina House I bought a new house...and am remodeling - You found a house - and several other people too Must be house season! LOL

I can barely afford to live here, never mind California. There. I'd be homeless, pushing a shopping cart that holds my two cats, my bird and all my beady stuff. Well, maybe TWO shopping carts....

Just to keep in mind -- we don't have hurricanes! LOL

That's okay, because I don't have a house either. The mortgage payments plus taxes and insurance would be $1500 and I only bring home $2200. So no house for me. Good thing I saved those cardboard boxes from my last move. If I tape them all together I'll have a nice little box home for me and my pets.

Linda -- I can relate. It is going to cost me $396 to renew my car tags in California, plus a smog check. That is my fee plus two parking tickets. Good God.
