OT: heading out

Okay, it's time for me to get off line and finish packing! For real, this time :) I'm heading up to the North Woods (upper Wisconsin) for a long, restful weekend with the bf, and won't be back online until Monday night, I reckon.

Here's hoping everyone has a safe, happy, healthy holiday weekend; and for those who don't celebrate the holiday, have fun anyway :)

For those in Florida, battening down against the weather demons, I'll keep you in my thoughts and send anti-hurricane vibes.

What part of the Northwoods? My dh's family has a 4 season home with a double hole biffy, electricity and a water pump outside in Powell which is outside of Mercer. Have a great time!

I'm back.

Thanks, a great time was had, indeed. The bf's dad has a B&B in St. Germain, near Eagle River. I got to watch a couple of movies while others went out fishing; got to do some karaoking, and go dancing, and ate *way* too much; then ended the weekend with a trip to a flea market, where I picked up some new ruby glass pieces - a little bud vase, and a candy dish.

Now I'm gonna try to catch up on the 1200+ messages here :)
