Oh, good news indeed. Sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, though. I lost mine several years ago, and I can relate well to the estate thing. Treat yourself; you have earned it!

And crimps.. I would need some of those.....where, what size... ack! Gees. give me a little money and I go hog wild! lol<

I say go to the source! Softflex makes some of the nicest crimp tubes around and they have a great selection of tools. I tried inserting a link for the Tools page, but their darned frames don't make it easy.

the left, click on Order Online, then in the Select Category box chooseTools: Pliers and go about 2/3's down the page. I had a cheesy pair ofcrimpers that kept blowing out the spring before I ordered the ones here, and they've lasted me 5 years so far. And you can buy some Softflex andcrimp tubes and all the other goodies here too. Check out their monthlyspecials.

Thank you. Mom has been gone now for about 10 years. I would trade the money for having her back in a heartbeat but since thats not an option the money is a nice gift from her. Now..where does one find reliable crimping pliers!? LOL Mom would be happy to know she helped us, and glad to see me use it to pursue art, in any form. Diana

Im glad your windfall gave you what you needed too. Mine is a nice size... not going to get rich or anything off it but we have talked about putting the amount we dont need into something with more payback than a savings account... its something we have to look into. Diana

And it is amazing how often this kind of just-in-time, almost 'magical' reprieve happens to people I've known...
