I'm SO jealous!!! It's 38 and RAINING here where I am in the Willamette Valley. Somehow it never gets *quite* cold enough to snow!!! Of course my husband doesn't like it - he's coming over the pass this afternoon and will probably have to mess with chains on his truck for the first time this season...

Big raspberry sent your way. I want a little cool weather but not snow. Think you could send some my way?

Freezing rain here yesterday and today. I hate that stuff.

I'm so jealous! The snow made it all the way up to the south Sound - around Olympia, but not far enough north to hit us here in North Bend. How cool to have a little snow so early in the year!

We got a little, and some stuck, but it was melted by noon. Still, it was really nice to wake up to! More expected later in the week...yipppeeeee!

I'm located in SE Pennsylvania, just above the Mason-Dixon. It was 76° yesterday but it won't last long. You see my birthday is Tuesday and we almost always have our first snow within the period of two weeks before my birthday to twoweeks after it.

It's coming - and I'll be the only person not surprised.

Oh, no - not enough snow to hamper that one bit. Just a light dusting, and I am sure it's all melted by now. :) Not to worry!

Happy Birthday for Tuesday. I hope you have a lovely day.

I too have a celebration this week, on Thursday. Our 49th wedding anniversary. Shirley

So far, so good. Have jury duty today, sat thru the voie dire process on a really juicy case but I didn't get picked. Tomorrow is my birthday and a US holiday (Election Day). Courthouse is closed so I'm off work all day! Wah hoo!

And to top all that off, it's almost 80° now. The sun is shining and the jury room was hot, stuffy, and crowded. Several of us spent the afternoon playing Trivial Pursuit. (I won!) :-)

I wish everyone as pleasant a day as I'm having today and tomorrow!

Big grin!!!

I am having such a week!

I am on jury duty this week. I get there yesterday and it turns out I am Juror number 4. Being born on the 4th, 4 has always been a lucky number for me. I was selected in the first batch of potential jurors selected yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn't chosen but I did get to experience the voir dire process first hand. After lunch, several of us played Trivial Pursuit (my first time) and I won! Then I learned that today os considered a court holiday - no jury duty today!

I came home and found an email telling me that I'd won a drawing for some web developmentr software. My choice is either FrontPage 2003 upgrade (I have 2002) or a bundle of their software. Well, I can get FP2003 for about $15 legally so I've opted for the $320 bundle of FrontLook software.

It's 80+° today, got my nails done, Mom bought me lunch, the deli gives a free dessert on your birthday (we split it - brownie with cheesecake, covered in caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream on the side), and husband just asked if I wanted to go out for dinner tonight.

What a fantastic birthday! I'm almost ready to admit to being 48 but not quite so I'm 19 again!
