OT - update

Well, got my new glasses. Took a day or 2 to get used to them. Made a lighter case. Got my ebay beads (pliers from a store - finally figured them out - it was a size issue, 1 1/2 pounds of beads - what I expected for czech beads - pretty colors, and then blew the rest on beads I'm going to have to sort - about what I expected & I proved a theory I had) (ie- not impressed but got what was advertised) Been doing laundry all day so have a metric buttload of dishes to do (laundry or dishes, can't do both) Got beads set up to do a wolf lighter. Good audio tape by Stephen King (Dreamcatcher if anyone's interested) to listen to. Sleeping all day (really got to stop staying up all night but it's SO peaceful!) Spending WAY to much time on the computer. Just wanted to say Hello!

It's fun to explore. Also, when you use less expensive components (and beads), you are free-er to experiment without worrying whether you're making the best use of your materials. Just go for it. Play. Learn.

And have fun.

Hi Helen. Good to hear from you. I never thought of audio tapes, I sometimes want something to listen to other than music or the radio when I'm doing something monotonous.

Don't new glasses ROCK?

I'm glad you did the experiment on big mixed-lots of beads so I don't have to!

Take it easy,

I did contact the seller and he did say they were 11/0's. Sure they were. If you average out the sizes, maybe. Not sure what I'm going to do with them. Got a bunch of things to make before I can get around to really sorting them but I WILL sort them, look at them, and MAYBE do something with them (there are some pretty 3-cut? ones in there but there's a lot of weeding to do to get to them) Think they're mostly chinese beads (for those of you that are unfamiliar with seeds the best in most people's opinion's are #1 - delicas, #2 - japanese, #3 - czech and everything else is worse than that AFAIK) Like I said, it proved a theory. Very happy about the new glasses. I can take them off to clean them without worrying about them falling apart in my hands. And when I got my teeth fixed/pulled and got rid of all those nasty abcesses it regulated all the pressures for my eyes so I shouldn't have to many changes from now on. Well, better go.
