OT Update from Marisa with some beady stuff

Hi everyone. It's all systems go around here. Brook is already in NZ looking for a house. I've sold tons of stuff and the shipping company arrives on Nov

14 to pick up the rest. The wedding plans are finalised now: celbrant booked, reception booked. I've sugared a whole bunch of blossoms from my own garden and made all the marzipan fruits for my wedding cake (which was much easier than I thought it would be and actually loads of fun to do). I've half finished MIL's suit and start on my dress soon. What else? Oh, yes, I'm waiting on a new shipment of flat wire for Brook's wedding ring, which of course, I'm making.

I have my eye on the ultimate goal which is life in Christchurch. Brook tells me it is stunningly beautiful. He's been looking at vans. We're buying one instead of a sedan, then we are ready to go exploring when I arrive! Can't wait.

I think of you all so often, especially today when I packed all my Bead and Button mags. I packed them at the top of the box and have not yet taped it...just in case I need one at the last minute! My beads go with me in my luggage. In fact I have a feeling that my luggage will be mostly beads!

I have a few more weeks on line, then the computers go on November 14th, so don't be concerned when I go quiet for a few weeks. Just in transit! Hugs to all

When did you say the wedding is?

I'm so excited for you. Yes, marzipan fruit is fun to make. And it was just a couple years ago that Pete and I got married. I hope you will be as happy as we are. Sharing adventure is wonderful. And since life is an adventure anyway......

I'm so excited with you.
