OT: Wedding Invitations

Okay, so I am *way* behind the times, I should have had these out a long time ago.

But my question is, for my name on the invitation, should I go by Mary Laverne Rurup (my ex-husband's name, that I have gone by for the last

10+ years) or Mary Laverne Williams

Sorry haven't been on the last couple of days, been catching up on things...

Your middle name is Laverne??? I'll come out in the open about this - mine is Leverne!

And I used my ex's last name on my wedding invitations because that's the name I've used for the last 30 years.

if Williams is your maiden name, then it *should* be Mary Williams Rurup. Why bother with the middle name? Just Mary Rurup...especially if that's how the invitees know you.

Man, even though we didn't get to it, I'm glad I was gonna elope. Going through a first wedding with all the formality was too much for me.

Best wishes on whichever way you decide to have the invitations done.

Hi Mary,

I'd use the name you have been going by for the 10+ years.... But I also like Candace's suggestion...

All the best with your wedding plans... and remember to breathe! for stress relief!! Hoping it's not all too hectic...
