pendan-suggestions needed for necklace

Ok, here's another wire sculpted pendant, and I'd like to make a necklace to go with it. I'm thinking a chain would not be enough to go with a big pendant.

I really haven't made that many necklaces. Usually, if I like a focal, I just throw it on a silver chain. Maybe a single strand of black (maybe 4-6mm or mixed beads) with a few matching spacers thrown in? A multi strand of smaller black and brown beads?

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. I guess I ought to just search the web and look at necklaces to see what I like and maybe get some ideas.

Oops. That was suppose to be PENDANT! I really can spell! (Some words, anyway. I'm usually pretty good with two syllables or less.)

I'd love to see it with mixed topaz colored crystals and vermiel beads...but that's just me!

Hmm...I have some glass fluted rondells in a tigerish pattern that would look good with plain black beads and some gold accents. LMK if you are interested - I don't think I've ever used them, lol.
