Peyote help/tutorial?

Dec 28, 2003 8 Replies

I want to make a beaded strawberry with leaves, but I can't seem to figure out how to make the leaves. I'm just not getting the increasing/decreasing, and my Beader's Companion is on loan to a friend. Can anyone help me, or maybe point me to an online tute? Oh, increasing/decreasing for tubular peyote will probably be my next *issue*, so help with that would be appreciated, too :o)

Thanks!!

increasing/decreasing,

LOL....'cause I do not know brick stitch. I've seen it, & tried to replicate it today, and I just couldn't get it right. I thought peyote, because I know it, and it seems to be the most popular for most applications. I'll learn brick stitch if that would be best:o)

]Doesn't anyone use the Links List anymore? There are a million tutorials ]there.

i think people just forget. and new people are in and out of here all the time. personally, i've got it bookmarked - twice. but sometimes, it's just easier to ask here first [hanging head] and sometimes i'm looking for a variety of opinions.

In all honesty, there's TOO much there, LOL ;o) I tried a few links from the links list, but I have two young children that don't let me have more than ten or fifteen minutes on the computer at a time. That's why I came here and asked.

Sorry!

Waving at Soozie -- I was just getting ready to send you the link to Jill (Tatercat)'s latest awesome accomplishment -- now I don't have to. Don't want anyone to miss it.
