I agree if you think you are interested at all. I love PMC.

I marked it on my calendar, now I have to go sign up. :=)

Oh! What are you making????

heh heh- well it was an experiment gone awry!

I was trying to make a box - and decided to try PMC paste on an empty match box. I only fired the shell part and it sort of collapsed. So I have some very thin sheets of fine silver :)

Another thing that happened was that some of the print from the box is now on the silver - and won't burnish off. Could be useful if I can figure out how it happened!

LOL Well good luck with that. I can tell that I'll need to do some reading before taking the class because I don't anything except seeing completed pieces and knowing that I like them!

Kathy, we did a project for which we painted the paste on a paper form. Remember the kimono I did? But it does need to be pretty thick.

oh I've done the painting before - paper, leaves, cork clay, etc and it worked fine. It just appears that a match box is not a good form.

I'm sure I'll do more experimenting!

Nah- when I took my forts class (a 1/2 day intro class) I didn't know anything either. A friend of mine had taken a course in Kansas several years ago and I saw the pendant she made. That was it.

It really is a lot of fun to work with.

It's good to know this. Sometimes ignorance is a good thing. :=)
