Answering myself...laminated fish. Gotta love it.
gonna be in NYC from Tuesday on, shopping the hidden bead warehouses, but am going to try to fit in a visit to this gallery.
Thanks for the link.
That Pearl Ehrlich necklace with the big rocks is cool! Not that I'd wear it. Mind expanding. And Wow, what flowers.

it looks too thick for envirotex. when you look at "her" other stuff (I assume she's a she) it looks heat laminated and cut around.
Also, the name is Unk Kraus...took me a bit to find it.
Also, there is a real estate agent in NY who takes me to the vintage bead warehouses. They are amazing. She makes the calls, the little old men and women appear and I buy vintage beads. They are my retirement fund. I rarely use them...they are works of art. Some of the glass buttons are unbelievable.
I will ask her if she is taking anymore clients. She is about 80 and the men and women I meet with are about 100!! Most were in the biz designing costumes and couture evening wear, and no one wanted to take over the businesses, no one needed them anymore, and this woman has made a nice post retirement living bringing beadaholics around to the warehouses. It's so funny..it's so covert--you're practically blindfolded as her driver takes us place to place. The warehouses are dark and dirty..just like in those old gangster movies. It's a BLAST!!!

Oh, thanks! I'm going to go search too.
How fab!
Thank you very much -- but I'm not going to NYC anytime soon, so don't bother, but thanks. :-) Love your story of going to all the dark, dirty, sinister warehouses.......
