Polymer Clay animal print beads

I've bought these beads from a website and would love to know how to make some! They're made of polymer clay, but I've never really done anything with it before. So, all you clay experts, how would you go about making them? Just remember you're talking to a beginner!

Too bad I don't work for that particular computer manufacturer any longer. I'd have begged you to sell me the cow-spotted one! Nowadays, although I hold no grudges against them, I no longer wear cow-spots.
