OK, everything I recall...

It was somewhere around my birthday, 1992. My friend Jen had just gotten a Hot Head, so she invited me over to show me how to use it... her boyfriend Tim was teaching beginning beadmaking at Cline Glass, and he was there too, watching over our shoulder, and he brought his toolbox bead annealer. (Pretty rad.) She made a couple of beads, and asked if I wanted to try (hell yeah!) so I made three beads... I was so excited because all of them turned out fairly bead-like. (Roundish, with a hole.)

That's about all I remember. I remember buying my own torch (oh boy do I ever!) but I don't remember the first few times I used it, at all.

Gee, that was shorter than I thought it was going to be! :)

I didn't believe it was anything that happened IRL. (I was wrong) ~~ Sooz To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. ~~Joseph Chilton Pearce
