Hi everyone and welcome all newbies to RCB (rec.crafts.beads)! We've seen a lot of new people coming on in to post, so I thought I would hand out the usual reference links and information you can use. First off, a couple of tips - When posting information promoting anything you are responsible for, please put AD in the subject line. For instance, web sites, aucttions, sales, contests, newsletters, etc. When posting anything that is not about beads or about this newsgroup (considered off topic), please put OT in the subject line. For best results, please do some research here before asking really general questions - more specific questions will likely get more answers. Here are some links to help with any bead research you would like to do.
Valerie is hosting 3 RCB Links pages that have the websites, photo albums and ebay links for those of us who post here on RCB.

If you need to find past posts to RCB, or need to read this group on the web, here's a good place:

I host the huge links list compiled by Sooz (another poster here on rcb). This thing has everything from bead artists to tutorials to patterns to supplies and a ton more. If you're looking for websites on any subject relating to beads, here's where to look. The first page has a handy table of contents. The whole list is 6 pages and climbing.

I also host Bead Notes - a really long, alphabetical encyclopedia of information compiled by Sooz from past posts here on RCB. So if you're looking for information on beading in general, this is a good place to start. No table of contents yet, but one is coming.

I also have typed up my own Ebay Tips for Beadmakers

A general FAQ for RCB is being done, but I can't remember the link. Anyone have that? Feel free to add to this thread anything you feel is useful to newbies!
