MOST interesting. But two inches is fairly massive, even for a focal. Do you do anything of that nature on a slightly smaller scale?

3-4 inches long? or in diameter?

If they were long and tapered, they wouldn't have that 'standing miles off the chest' effect I was envisioning...

Flat discs, or spheres?

It isn't the full-face shot that concerns me, it's the 'profile', if that makes sense ;-)

Oh, yep - makes sense! There really isn't much of a profile at all since the pieces themselves aren't really thick - just very wide or very long.
