Re: Clarification on "fan pulls" post

Oooooh, cool! Here I was thinking you wanted the pulls made. What color sceme are you looking for? Do you want round beads, or would you rather have them shaped? Do you have a design in mind? All of these things will contribute to the asking price. I do know that the beads will be on the expensive side, purely because of the size. I'm doing large drawer pulls for my grandma - this is along the same line, I think. LOL - Here I was saying last week that I don't accept custom orders. Ha. I guess I am going to have to now, because this sounds like fun!

So, you see, I don't really need to find "fan pulls" just 2 large matching or coordinated beads, preferably made by someone at RCB. (I say "know" because I've been lurking for, I think, more than a year now, though I've very very rarely posted.)

That's cool - I love doing big beads... (nobody seems to like them but me, but I like em!) I don't really know of any "steel" like colors in the glass... but how about some palladium foil encased under clear - will be bright shiny silver, over a core color of like Cobalt blue... or something along those lines. Me too, me too! LOL

I'd just about decided to put away my larger mandrels, til I realized they make great "cores" for vessels.

Most of my beads are on the "larger" side. Alison, I'll cheerfully put myself out there as a contender for fan pulls. Check out my links, especially my Ebay store, and see if anything gets your attention. I can make anything that I have listed on a larger mandrel, no problem.

IF my kids let me go out to the studio, I'll work on it tonight!
