The concert was great!!!!!! There was a standup comic before Al, a local who was genuinely funny. My favorite part was him making fun of the white kids trying to be black street kids. "You dunno what it's like out here on the street!" "Kid, you live on a cul-de-sac and have your own webpage! Go mow somebody's lawn."

Al was fantabulous. He did a great mix of songs from his new CD and classics. Great medley of choice favorites. My new fave is the Leper Colony Party. And yes, Tink, he did the Ebay song!!!!!! The kids were disappointed after the first ending, they didn't hear their favorites.....they were the encore (The Jedi Song and Yoda). Great theater, good seats, wonderful time. So much energy we all had trouble getting to sleep. And now they want to know what we're seeing next. LOL Mike got hugs all around, too!

I just adore Al. In fact, I am officially one of "Al's Gals". Been a fan since "Another One Rides the Bus". He sure gives an outstanding performance, eh?

I love the Jedi song :-) The man is a friggin' genius, if you ask me.

I wish he would come to Austin. I would love to surprise Dan with tickets. He loves Weird Al and I've come to love his quirky sense of humor.

Yay! And good on Mike for paying attention to what would make for a really valued event. As a kid I almost always got tickets to live performances for my birthday. It was great!
