Very Pretty Karen! I love the colors!
Super nice job, Karen!!!!!
I love it. I haven't tried vessels yet. I made some pumpkin beads and a witch hat tonight. They are my first sculptural. I plan on making some sketches of Harley stuff this weekend so I can hit the flame and try those out.
Thanks everyone!!!!!

Very pretty. Like the colors and they are not usually colors I tend to like, so that shows how much I like it (did that come out right?). Patti who is still blinded by all the great beads at the Gathering
I think it turned out lovely! I am having troubles wwith vessels myself, so I have stopped trying for a little while. Mine crack in half - I need to get better control of the heat. Of course, I am probably trying to make them too big. :) I am glad you had success, Karen!
Karen, I think it's absolutely lovely. I'm truly amazed when lampworked turn out anything other than slightly lopsided meant-to-be-round beads in one or two colors (and, truth be told, I'm amazed when you turn out those, too!).
I haven't yet attempted lampwork, although I plan to take a few lessons this fall, when classes are offered again locally (thanks again, Louis, for answering my questions on that in another newsgroup).I keep insisting that I'm not interested in learning this particularly skill as an art form, only for better knowing what makes a good bead and for better understanding the process. *mutter* I am not interested. I am not interested. *mutter*
At any rate, the colors at gorgeous and, as Louis said, very appropriate for the form; they complement each other well. Keep working on it and sharing with us as you progress. I'm eager to see more!

I pretty much *always* like her colors and forms, and how well they suit each other... the vessel is no exception.

Oh, yes, we know about glass space, and not being aware of what's going on around us...coming back to reality is what is really the shock, eh???
mary
(((((hugs))))) That's sweet of you! Actually, I have tons of white and I don't ever use it. Not the vintage glass though - is it different somehow? Anyone want to trade white for something? :) Actually, we should do a glass exchange here - I am sure I am not the only one with lots of glass colors I will likely never use. Takers, anyone?
