I haven't taken a good look at your site for quite a while. I'd forgotten what wonderful work you do. I like your site's new look. Are those flowers something you make? Lost wax? Or is everything hand worked. Love the clean strong floral pieces especially.

Thank you. The site is due to my brother. He does all the work. Barbara Dream Master

Yes, I make the flowers. Most of them a lost-wax. Tho I do do quite a few items that are fabricated. Depends on the complexity and my mood at the time..... Barbara Dream Master

I used to sing the song to my boys at night when Seth couldn't sleep. For about 2 years I sang to him every night after lights out. That was after his dad walked out on us. He took it very hard. Barbara Dream Master

Thanks. I hope to add more Judaica soon. I've just been so swamped it has had to take a back seat to orders to be filled. Barbara Dream Master

But you make the jewelry, and the jewelry is what I love most about the site. :)

I'm trying to get a decent picture of one called "The Bunny Tree". It's a tree (surprise, surprise) as the stem. Sitting under one of the roots on the base is a bunny carved from a piece of amethyst. The branches hold the cup and each branch and twig is tipped with a blue or green Austrian lead crystal. Barbara Dream Master

Wow, what a beautiful piece! And I love the rooted tree and the lily of the valley pin, too. Well, hell, I like all of it. Too bad I have a hefty tuition bill staring me in the face.....

Barb, As soon as I saw Cheryl's mention of your cups/goblets I had to check out your website. I met you in Danville at the Arts in The Park Festival!!! (I doubt that you remember me but I am the person who won first place in pottery). I do love your work! I wish everyone could see it in person. Will you be returning to Danville? Have you ever set up at the 'Taste of Champaign' festival in Champaign, Illinois? That's the one I would shoot for in this area. I hope to meet you again one day!

It's also my current favorite among the cups. I hope to make another grape cluster cup soon (whenever that is.......). And I have this great idea for a water lily cup, and, and......we'll you'll see...someday..... (oh, and thanks!) Barbara Dream Master

I didn't have my own booth. I am one of the artists that exhibit with the Danville Art League. Last year I entered 3 pieces: two carved jars and a lizard slide whistle. And this year I entered 2 carved jars. One with maple leaves and the other with a spiral leaf. The last 2 years 'The Taste of Champaign' has been on the same weekend as the Danville show (the people who now run the Danville show really don't know what they are doing! Probably a good thing you don't plan on returning.). Champaign is about 40 miles west and is a university town with a lot more money and art appreciaters and buyers then Danville. If you do a google search you will find more info. although I didn't see a projected head count. I will ask my gallery what it was this year... they will know. I think you would do very well here and probably be asked by a couple of the galleries if you would be interested in exhibiting. (I don't know if you would be interested in this, but the gallery that I am at only takes 33%)

I know that several of my former instructors ( I graduated) would go ga ga over your work. I'll see if I can talk to some of the artists and see how sales were this year.

OK, shameless plug time. Don't cry yourself to sleep. Put whatever it is that's eating you on layaway, (20% down), make monthly payments and before you know it, it's your's. No interest. What have you got to lose? Barbara Dream Master

I remember you! I wanted to buy the maple leaf jar for my sister, but you had to give it back to a gallery.

I am more than interested in picking up a gallery in that area. And 1/3 is very reasonable. If they're looking for anyone new, we could talk! As long as they have a reliable track record on on-time payments......

Let me know what you find our. Obviously Danville has to be replaced.
