Re: OT The In Laws Have Arrived!

Hope Tyler is all better today. Sounds like the visit is going well!!

Today was great:) Tyler's goose egg had gone down a whole heck of a lot, and he seemed unbothered by it for the most part. We went to Lowes and got the washer and dryer set, and then to WalMart for some needed stuff (diapers and such) and then came home and chilled out while the guys (DH and FIL) went and got the W n D. Spent some time outside with Dare, using his new toy fishing rod (the kid can CAST) and made my BeadNerd bracelet, and generally hung out. MIL washed some dishes (will she never stop being Miss Domesticity???) and I vaccumed up some Pop Tart mess.

We went out to dinner at a chinese buffet and FIL had a blast getting Tyler to laugh and play, while MIL had en equally good time sharing food with Dare. We parted ways after that, and the kids went right to sleep. (YaY!)

Tomorrow, MIL and I will take the kids for some clothes shopping, and FIL will instal new latches on our kitchen cabinets and change the oil in the Trike. We'll pick up a huge cheesecake for Adam's birthday (is he really 25 years old already? damn.) and see how the rest of the day goes. We'll probably end up in the 3 hour long line for Lamberts, and have some rolls "throwed" at us for dinner. I'm loving this weekend thus far, and I still can't wait to see Starlia in a few days:) Speaking of which--- Starlia, when you gonna call me, woman? lol.

They got you a washer and dryer? I like these people! Becki "In between the moon and you, the angels have a better view of the crumbling difference between wrong and right." -- Counting Crows

Yup, me too, for the most part. As nice as they can be a lot of the time, FIL is still one heck of an overly critical guy.
