I bought a 20g "block"... messed around with it a bit, and sealed the leftover half in its silvery pouch which I rolled down carefully and sealed with tape, then I put that package inside a snack size ziplock baggie... but now it's hard.... ready to torch hard....
any ideas for rehydrating it? or should I just make a silver "lump"?
I had a great deal of trouble converting the clay to silver... I'd heat it until it glowed, hold it there for about 30 seconds, and let it cool. When cleaning and sanding, the item would crack and break, revealing white clay inside. But I had the ENTIRE thing glowing orange for over 30 seconds... my oldest DD was with me and she minded the time, and can vouch for the fact that the entire piece was hot. So, whassup? Whad'ahdowrong? ideas??? beth
