As an Oregonian, I would personally like to thank all of you Floridians for inviting all of these hurricanes to your state this year. Your selfless efforts to help the economy of our state are greatly appreciated As you may know, Oregon employment numbers have taken an extreme downward turn in the last few years, with not much hope in sight. Oh sure we have great tourist attractions, such as the Banana slug races, and the Oregon Rain Festival, AKA: The Rose Festival, and the city of Boring has it's Yawn festival, but these do little or nothing to stimulate the economy here. But after 4 major damage storms in your state in almost as many weeks, there is a major plywood shortage here in Oregon. Manufacturers can hardly keep up with the demand, " Mom and Pop" plywood plants have started to show up in almost every neighborhood, and gangs have started to sell it on the black market instead of drugs( Hell, you can get drugs anywhere). You have to be careful though, some of them will try to sell you Oriented Strand Board and tell you it's the real thing........ Truck loads of plywood have replaced the Lexus as the most stolen vehicle in the state. So thank you once again, we may not have a single damned tree left growing here by the end of the hurricane season, but we'll have jobs, at least for a short while......
