One of my ex work colleagues as asked me if I can make her some earrings to go with a bracelet and necklace she bought whilst on holiday.
It is supposedly turquoise and silver. Since she was wearing it I did not get chance to handle it.
It has large turquoise beads of about 5/8ths in length.
The thing that struck me is that none of the beads had any veining in them. All the turquoise beads I have , have got the veining. The only total blue ones I have seen are small cabochons.
Are there large beads with no veining. I am not knowledgeable about turquoise. Shirley
